This term the whole school has worked together under the guidance
of one of our parents, Paul Ryan, to create a beautiful mural depicting all the
nationalities that we have at Elonera. Here is what happened:....
Stage 3 students surveyed the entire school so that they could
compile a list of all the nationalities that we have here at Elonera.
They then made a list and gave it to the High School students,
the High School students used this list to draw out a rough idea of how
large each flag could be and started drawing the flags. This took
some time...
Once all the flags were drawn it was time for painting...
Stage 3 started us off.....
Stage 2M couldn't wait to get their brushes onto the board...
Then the Children's House helped out....
Luckily, Stage 2B completed all of the flags...
Then it was the Stage 4 and 5's turn to draw the Globe in the centre...
It was hard, but everybody helped...
And when that was finished they began to paint the continents...
